Louis Aston Knight (1873 – 1948) was the son of the American artist Daniel Ridgway. He was born in Paris and attended the Chigwell School in England. Later he became famous in the USA. Even President Harding purchased Aston Knight's painting entitled The Afterglow, to hang in the White House.
